Chapter 15: Talented girl
by adminLost!
I really lost this time!
Viola Brook frowned, realizing that her guest had only spent about two or three thousand, not even enough to cover the expenses of the poor student.
She had lost a lot!
Thinking this, Viola Brook looked up and down at the smiling Venus, increasingly feeling that Venus was too scheming, but she did not realize that it was herself who had ignored the guest in the first place.
On the other side, Helena left the makeup area and was going to find a place to have lunch.
When she walked to the elevator, she glanced at the girl standing next to her who was the same age as her.
The girl was wearing a light-colored dress, with a ponytail and a small leather backpack on her shoulders.
Behind her was a middle-aged man in casual clothes, staring at the girl.
When the girl raised her hand to tuck her hair behind her ear, the man tried to reach for her backpack.
“Georgina!”
Helena instinctively called out the girl’s name.
The girl was startled, and the man behind her suddenly withdrew his hand, glaring angrily at Helena.
Seeing the situation, the girl understood immediately.
She gave the man a sharp look, turned around and adjusted her backpack to wear it correctly.
The man spat on the ground and left, cursing all the way.
The girl nodded gratefully to Helena, and Helena nodded and smiled back.
The elevator arrived, and they both entered.
Helena pressed the 5th floor button.
There were only the two of them in the elevator, and the girl stared at her toes.
After the elevator doors opened, she stopped Helena, “Excuse me, can you wait a minute?”
Helena stopped and turned around, “What’s up?”
“Well, as a thanks for reminding me just now, could I treat you to lunch?”
The girl’s eyes were sincere, “If it weren’t for you, my monthly living expenses would have been ruined.”
“Sure!” Helena did not refuse.
After all, they would be classmates after the start of school.
They went to the restaurant, ordered a set meal, and sat down.
After two glasses of barley tea were poured, the girl asked, “You called out my name just now.
Have we met before?”
Helena picked up her cup and smiled, “You got the highest score in this year’s high school entrance exam. I just finished the exam, so it’s not surprising that I know you.”
“Oh.” Georgina nodded and smiled, “Which high school did you get into?”
“I missed Liberty High School by a few points, so I paid a sponsorship fee,” Helena did not conceal her situation and smiled mysteriously, “maybe we will be in the same class in the future.”
“If we really become classmates, it’s fate!” Georgina laughed heartily.
After talking and feeling that they got along well, the two girls went to the movies together, exchanged phone numbers, and then said goodbye.
Watching Georgina’s retreating figure, Helena’s smile gradually disappeared.
This Georgina was truly a talented girl.
Her father was the principal of Liberty High School, and she had a modest and good-natured character.
Unfortunately, it seemed that all talented girls did not have good endings.
In her past life, Georgina had also passed away early due to some event, and Helena had even attended her funeral. She felt that it was such a pity for such a great girl.
