The sound of “knock, knock, knock” interrupted Helena’s thoughts.

“Come in,” Helena cleared her throat and turned around.

The door opened, and Lngram walked in.

Helena was puzzled because Lngram wasn’t like this in her past life, did she reincarnate along with Lngram changing?

“I have taken care of your schooling,” Lngram said, “I will assign a driver and a car for you, and Sean will be responsible for picking you up and dropping you off every day.”

“Oh, I see, thank you, Dad,” Helena remembered that Vanessa informed her of these things in her previous life.

“Also,” Lngram continued, “your stepmother may say something that might misunderstand you today. She is kind, but she isn’t good at expressing herself. You…”

“Dad,” Helena interrupted him, knowing Lngram’s purpose and straightforwardly said, “I know.”

“Hmm, you are a smart child,” Lngram nodded at Helena and looked at her with a hint of approval.

Although she lacked a bit of temperament, she still knew how to behave, and Helena was not beyond redemption.

“Dad, do you have anything else?” Helena asked.

“One last thing,” Lngram placed a credit card on the table and said, “You can use this card, and the maximum limit per month is 30,000.”

“Thank you, Dad,” Helena lightly nodded her head without refusing.

“Then, rest early,” Lngram said, then left the room.

After leaving Helena’s room, Lngram went straight to the study on the third floor and knocked on the door before walking in.

“Dad,” Caleb was looking at the documents and said, “When Helena comes over, the emotions of the York family’s Vanessa and Theresia will be a bit sensitive. You have to control the situation.”

    “I know,” Lngram answered truthfully.

“Have you prepared the external statement?” Caleb took off his reading glasses and looked at Lngram.

“I have prepared it,” Lngram replied.

“It concerns the face of the York family, so you have to be careful when handling it, do you understand?” Caleb’s face was serious.

“I understand,” Lngram nodded, and then he seemed to remember something and said, “The Dragon Family over…”

“The Dragon Family contacted me, and the engagement remains the same,” Caleb interrupted Lngram, exhaled a long breath, and said, “You can leave now.”

“Yes, you should rest early,” Lngram left the study room, and Caleb squinted his eyes and looked at the table lamp on the desk.

He always felt that California was going to change, but he couldn’t be sure if it was for better or for worse.

He only hoped that the York family could be safe and sound.

At the same time, at the California International Airport, a man walked out of the airport with his white shirt collar slightly open, wearing a casual black suit jacket on his arm and a smile on his lips.

His appearance made people around him unable to help but gaze at him, wondering which model or superstar he was.

“Young Master Dragon, over here!” The woman who picked him up had wavy long hair, enchanting phoenix eyes, and a natural coquettishness.

“Vera.” The man curled his lips.

The woman naturally took his coat and said, “Why did you suddenly come to California? Who knows?”

“No one knows,” the man sat in the passenger seat and fastened his seatbelt efficiently.

“You,” Vera shook her head helplessly and sat in the driver’s seat, “you’ve always been like this since you were young. No one can change your decisions, and you never put others in your eyes. I really don’t know what kind of woman can tolerate you!”

Vera recalled something and asked, “Your fiancée, who you are engaged to by fingertip, is also in California, right?”

“Hmm,” the man had an indifferent expression, “I will make her voluntarily cancel the engagement.”

This was one of his purposes for coming to California.
