A family sat down at the dining table, and Helena did not take a seat but instead looked towards Lngram.

She naturally knew where she should sit, but Lngram had to say it.

“You can sit next to Theresia,” Lngram replied while taking a seat.

Helena sat next to Theresia, folding her hands on her lap as the servants began to serve the meal.

“Usually, we eat dinner at least an hour earlier than this. We waited for you today,” Vanessa said with a smile as she looked at Helena.

In her past life, Helena would feel guilty hearing that statement, unable to eat well at all during a meal and even avoiding to take any food.

This time, she looked towards Lngram with a hint of grievance and resentment.

Lngram received her gaze and said, “Let’s eat, everyone!”

Vanessa heard Lngram’s words without saying anything and just glanced at Helena.

She thought Helena would be a naive little girl who had never been exposed to the world, but it seems she has some cunning.

    So what?

She was able to outsmart Yolanda back then.

Now, she has what it takes to play with her daughter until the end.

“Helena, have you ever had these dishes before?” Theresia’s clear and pleasant voice was lovely to hear, and she had big eyes that blinked constantly, making her look innocent and playful.

Helena raised her mouth slightly, and no one could have imagined that this cute Theresia would be such a vicious and cunning villain.

“Are you asking about the rice, vegetables, or meat?” Theresia was stunned for a moment, not expecting Helena to reply like this, and then put a garlic abalone into her own bowl and said, “I particularly like this dish. You’ve never had a three-headed abalone, have you?”

“No,” Helena nodded and said, “I don’t like the garlic taste in my mouth.”

Theresia was stunned again, thinking to herself why this person was so out of place?

“Helena, just pick whatever you want to eat. Don’t be constrained. Treat it like your own home,” Vanessa said with a smile.

    “Haha,” Helena laughed out loud.

“Why are you laughing?” Theresia asked.

“I’m laughing at Aunt’s words. It’s like we’re not in my own home,” Helena laughed two more times after speaking.

“… I misspoke,” Vanessa felt embarrassed.

After finishing the meal, Helena followed the servant to her room, which was her room in her past life, in a very remote location.

There was never any sunlight, but it was very large, larger than the entire house she and her mother had lived in before.

Helena watched the servant put down her luggage and stand to the side.

She knew the servant, Logan Clark, was waiting for a tip, but she had no money, and even if she did, she wouldn’t give it.

This servant had assisted Theresia in sabotaging her in secret in her past life, constantly inciting other servants to ignore her, and of course, Wilbur’s help could not be underestimated.

After glancing up and down at the servant, Helena said, “I remember your name is Logan Clark, right?”

“Yes,” Logan Clark nodded and looked Helena up and down, dressed in ordinary clothes and appearing to be unable to profit from anything.

Thinking about this, Logan Clark couldn’t help but think that this village girl was just a chicken, at best a parrot on a branch, and couldn’t compare to Miss Theresia. “Listen carefully, from now on, every time you answer one of my questions, you must include a respectful title at the end. Do you understand?” Helena said coldly.
